Areola tattooing is a specialised form of medical tattooing used to recreate or restore the appearance of the nipple and areola complex. This treatment can be deeply empowering, helping clients feel more comfortable in their skin and bringing closure to an emotional or physical healing journey. Whether to add symmetry, camouflage scarring, or complete breast reconstruction, areola tattooing offers a sense of wholeness and confidence.
This procedure involves carefully implanting pigment into the skin to match your natural tone and anatomy. At Signature Academy, our model treatments are performed by skilled trainees under the close supervision of experienced trainers, including our founder Tracy Fensome, who brings over 20 years of expertise in medical tattooing and permanent makeup.
What to expect as a model:
- A detailed consultation to understand your needs and create a custom pigment match
- Numbing cream applied for comfort
- The procedure takes 60–90 minutes per side depending on the complexity
- Full aftercare guidance is provided to support healing and pigment retention
