Facial Skin Course

The Facial Skin Course content will focus on the importance of client consultation, assessing client skin type to allow for a bespoke facial treatment to target the clients’ needs. All VTCT Facial and Skincare units will be covered in delivery with prestudy, class attendance and assignments.

The units to be completed to competency level are:

• Health & safety, and hygiene.
• Anatomy & Physiology
• Tools, equipment and products.
• Client Consultation and communication.
• Skincare product knowledge
• Carry out a full facial treatment
• Massage of face and décolletage
• Facial steam and extraction
• After care advice

Included:
Course includes all materials and equipment for the training at the academy. Students will need to bring their own towels for the treatment. Refreshments provided and students will need to bring lunch.

Kit
It is recommended the student purchases a kit so they can continue practising on models outside of course. Optional.

Progression
We advocate education and progression to further improve skills so that clients benefit from the treatments. Other courses available post course:

Upon completion you will be presented with a Signature Diploma certificate so that immediate insurance can be achieved (students’ responsibility to source) We do recommend Holistic Therapy services.  The VTCT certification will be issued once the VTCT EQA assessor has seen you perform a treatment. Date will be arranged during your progression.
