Must hold a VTCT Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology or equivalent awarding body. (if you do not have this we can support you) or a VTCT level 3 Beauty Therapy. To advance to the VTCT ITEC Level 5 the prerequisite is a VTCT Level 4 Laser and IPL certification.

Applicants must be aged 18 or over and have a good command of spoken and written English to fully engage in both the practical training and verbal and written..

We recommend to complete a Core of Knowledge online course prior to attending. We can recommend two when you register with us. Normal cost £40-£120. Check with your local council to register you will be providing this service in your clinic.

This course is insurable. Check with your current insurance providers prior to booking the course. We can suggest other insurance companies if required.

This is a one-day course with theory, practical delivery and student practical, assessment, Q&A session. Timing 10am – 4pm. Trainer post course support. Certification sent via post. Resources include a course manual, aftercare guides, consultation templates.

All Signature trainers are fully qualified educators, assessors, and internal quality assurers (IQA). They actively maintain their professional development by attending annual training, industry events, and continuing to work within their own beauty, laser businesses – ensuring their skills and knowledge remain current and relevant for today’s clients.

You will be able to start straight away in your business once you have received your Certificate of Achievement. If you are VTCT ITEC Level 4 Laser & IPL trained you may wish to ad on the VTCT ITEC Level 5 in Tattoo Removal qualification (further days required and cost £2400 for the Ofqual qualification)

Day One – practical at academy
Day Two – Practical at academy
Day Three – Assessment day (1-2 weeks later)

Course Size: Up to 4 learners for maximum learning and trainer 121 attention.

Timings: 9.45 arrive for a promot start at 10am to 4pm with a short lunch break.

Dress Code – For the practical aspect of the course, a professional beauty uniform ie tunic with short sleeves is preferred to give a professional image. Footwear should be flat-soled closed-toe shoes for safety reasons. We do now allow flip flops or sandals for hygiene and safety reasons. If applicable, long hair must be neatly tied back away from face and shoulders. We recommend leaving valuables, such as jewellery, at home.
